Oil cakes are the solid residue
left after oily seeds, such as
sesame seed have been pressed free
of their oil. The ground by product
usually finds its use in the
fertilizer and animal feed industry.
Oil cakes come in two forms:
Edible oil cake - Due to its
nutritious value these oil cakes are
used in the feeding of cattle and
other livestock
Non-edible oil cake - Used mostly as
a natural fertilizer, by farmers who
are conscious of maintaining
environment friendly farming
practices. |

At Ami Oil Mill, the coarse residue
obtained after crushing the sesame
seeds rich in nutrition, is broken
up, ground and packaged as Oil meal.
Our sesame cake is undoubtedly a
healthier and more environment
friendly cattle feed alternative.
Especially at a time when most
outbreaks of cattle diseases have
been traced to bone meal and other
such cattle feed.
